A TEENAGE daughter who battled to walk again later a rare brain disorder has been paralysed over again - after a automobile crash on her last day of physio.

Sporty Jade Almond, 16, was left with the strength of "a newborn baby" after the M60 horror crash iii weeks ago.

Jade - a one-time Wigan Able-bodied Ladies goalkeeper - fought bravely to overcome Functional Neurological Disorder later hit her head falling off a chair in 2018.

She managed to walk once again subsequently vii months of crowdfunded physio to the tune of £xiv,500.

But on her final twenty-four hours of physio, Jade, forth with mum Michelle Almond, sister Josie and two pals, were hitting past another auto on the M60.

Her family claims the other driver was reaching over to option upwards POPCORN at the time of the crash.

Jade, from Abram, Greater Manchester, said: "It's heartbreaking being in this position and knowing all that hard work has been undone.

"I was pretty much back to normal - able to run, trip the light fantastic toe and play football once again - I was fourscore per cent at that place and but had a bit of a tremor in my leg.

"My sitting rest has completely gone - my core and my neck are really weak - and I can't sit straight.

"It seems like I've lost all my strength, information technology's like I've only got the force of a babe.

"Even when I'm lying downwardly I have to have pillows under me or I fall to that right side.

"Information technology'due south so frustrating not beingness able to move, all I desire to do is get upwards and dorsum to where I was or at least motility instead of merely lying in a bed all mean solar day."

What is FND?

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a common and disabling cause of neurological symptoms.

People with FND can feel a wide diversity of symptoms including:
